What happens in case of bad weather?

We can ride in case of light rain, but in case of localized alert, we postpone the ride (see conditions of sale). Your ticket remains valid for 1 year.

What time should I arrive at the station?

You must arrive at Aspach-Michelbach station half an hour before departure time to obtain your railbike number and be able to attend the safety instructions.

How long does the course last?

The route is 9.6 km long and lasts on average 1 hour 30 minutes.

Is there parking?

We have a large car park reserved for our customers which can accommodate all types of vehicles (camper vans, buses, etc.)

Is the activity accessible to people with reduced mobility?

We cannot accommodate people in wheelchairs on board the railbikes.

How many children under the age of 4 per velorail ?

There can only be one child under 4 per velorail as we can only put on seat. 

Are dogs allowed on the course?

For safety reasons, we do not accept pets on board the railbike.

Is there catering on site?

We have a catering service on site with a food truck open every weekend for lunch in low season and every day in July/August. The refreshment bar is open every day with a beautiful terrace.

Is there a minimum height required to pedal?

You must be at least 1.40m tall to be able to pedal.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept bank cards, cash, checks, CE+ card, holiday vouchers, ANCV Connect and Cezam card.

Is the route a circuit ?

The route is in two parts: departure from Aspach towards Burnhaupt, turning back towards Cernay Gravière and return to Aspach.

Can a child under 4 years old participate in the activity?

Yes of course, however there can only be one child between 9 months and 4 years per Vélorail. For his safety, he will be installed (as in a car) in a seat provided by Vélorail.

Is it mandatory to book in advance?

To be sure to have a railbike, it is necessary to book in advance because we have a limited number of railbikes. We take reservations on the website and by phone.

What is the minimum number of people required to participate in the activity?

At least two people able to pedal (+1m40), including one adult, are required. Maximum 4 adults and 5 people if there are children per railbike.

Is any special equipment required?

It is best to come with closed shoes and a cap in summer.

Can we go on ride at any time ?

Departures are at a fixed time (see rservation site) because we run on the same rails as the Thur Doller Train. You are accompanied by a security agent.
